B2C Luxury Travel Consultant - Madikwe Specialist

African Safari Group (ASG) is a leading luxury travel company specialising in bespoke African safari experiences.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced B2C Luxury Travel Consultant – Madikwe Specialist to join our growing team.
Professional Madikwe safari experience is an essential requirement for this position.
You will work directly with international clients from their initial enquiry through to booking and post-trip follow-up, using your specialist Madikwe knowledge to design exceptional tailor-made safari experiences.
This is a sales-focused B2C position. You will consult with clients, design and price itineraries, prepare quotations, handle objections, upsell and close bookings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consult directly with clients about their safari requirements.
- Design and sell tailor-made Madikwe safari itineraries.
- Provide expert advice on Madikwe lodges, wildlife and safari experiences.
- Match clients with appropriate properties and experiences.
- Manage the complete booking journey.
- Prepare detailed itineraries and quotations.
- Build long-term client relationships.
- Handle objections and close high-value bookings.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance itineraries.
- Maintain current knowledge of Madikwe properties, experiences and logistics.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM information.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's proven experience in direct B2C sales to clients.
- Professional Madikwe safari experience is essential.
- Strong practical knowledge of Madikwe Game Reserve and surrounding areas.
- Experience selling luxury safari or African travel.
- Proven ability to consult, upsell and close high-value bookings.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- CRM experience.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Genuine passion for safari, wildlife and African travel.
Candidates without relevant Madikwe safari experience and at least 1 year of direct B2C sales experience will not be considered.
