As an Area Sales Manager, you will serve as a strategic point of contact for stakeholders and oversee sales operations. This position involves promoting and selling the organization’s products across multiple sales channels while leading a team for Vision Care Portfolio for Catalonia and the North of Spain territory. This position is based in Barcelona. A typical day will include:
- Develop and monitor an integrated operational plan which achieves business goals
- Meet or excel sales target
- Manage operating expenses
- Ensure effective management of sales team. Including training and personal development.
- Increase sales/ team productivity
- Be accountable for collaboration with Customer Accounts, Marketing, Product Managers
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Minimum of 3 years in sales or a similar role, preferably within an international company.
- Prior leadership experience is a plus.
- Background in healthcare or pharmacy is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Driver’s license is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Strong sales and goal-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (Catalunya and North of Spain)
