About the role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have a key role in developing and designing data driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics - platform. You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts.
We are looking for someone with
- Several years of professional experience in software development, with strong programming skills in Python, SQL or other relevant languages
- Hands-on experience developing data-driven solutions and working with big data technologies such as Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably within Azure
- Passion for continuous learning, innovation and developing high-quality products that solve complex customer problems
- Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, combined with honesty, openness and a collaborative team mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish
It would be beneficial if you also have experience in
- Social care and healthcare data
- Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse
- Dimensional data modeling, star schemas and data marts
- Development of Power BI
