We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and others. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service.
Join our Development Center in Brașov as an Embedded Developer and develop software in an agile environment for high-end appliances.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will develop embedded software functionalities for high-end appliances in an international environment;
- You will be responsible for the software from the concept stage to the final commissioning including integration, documentation, testing and validation;
- You will ensure that deliverables meet quality goals;
Education:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Key job requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional experience with development related tools and practices (developing and debugging C/C++ SW, debugging and refactoring of legacy code, agile methods, review techniques, continuous integration and delivery, etc.);
- Knowledge of microcontroller technology and basic electronic components;
- Previous experience in working with System and Software requirements;
- Understanding of testing concepts;
- English language (at least CEFR level B2).
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell;
- Knowledge about concepts and principles of object-oriented programming;
- German language is a plus.
