In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Diagnosing and resolving highly complex engine issues through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, helping maximize equipment reliability and customer uptime.
- Leading by example in the workshop by maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, safety, and professionalism while working independently on complex technical challenges.
- Coaching and developing less experienced technicians through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and hands-on support, strengthening the team's overall capability and future talent pipeline.
- Performing detailed engine inspections and failure analysis to identify issues early raise SR’s and reduce report downtime.
- Delivering exceptional customer support by proactively communicating effectively with stakeholders and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the analysis process.
- Managing warranty or premature failure teardowns, confirming warranty coverage, and ensuring teardowns are executed according to Cummins Standards.
- Ensuring quality and compliance standards are met by completing accurate condition and failure reports and adhering to all HSE protocol.
- Driving continuous improvement contributing to Toolbox Talks and helping the team achieve business objectives.
