National Oilwell Varco, L.P. seeks a Global Fabrication Category Manager to oversee the migration of roughly 4,500 unique fabrication items as Mexicali operations wind down. The role will design and execute sourcing strategies, qualify new suppliers, establish welding procedure specifications, and coordinate fabrication, welding, painting, and related processes while partnering with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. After the transition, the manager will continue to deliver cost savings, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and expand local fabrication capabilities in line with NOV’s localization goals.
NOV is seeking a Fabrication Category Manager to develop and execute the sourcing strategy for fabricated components and assemblies. The Category Manager will build a capable and competitive supplier network, partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams, and establish the fabrication, welding, painting, and other manufacturing processes required to ensure a successful transition.
