DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an individual with an excellent eye for new products, a love for food, and creative skills to join as an essential marketing team member. This position fits within the global customer engagement (Nurture) function within Marketing.
Support the "what next in food" dialogues with our customers, responsibilities include:
Ability to understand the marketing insights that fuel consumer preferences.
Be on top of food trends, and have a culinary-inspired approach to solving customer problems.
Monitor and track global brands and insights.
Work closely with a wide set of customers, from CPG to Food Service customers.
Works cross-functionally in the organization and has customer-facing interactions.
Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting.
Time management and organization skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives.
Proficient with marketing-related software programs (mintel, euromonitor, taste wise, etc)
Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management and clients.
Marketing intelligence for pricing. May assist with analysis of pricing and margins
Marketing strategies that focus on a Sensient internal environment, especially its employees (endomarketing).
You will be a pivotal member Marketing team to help define what success looks like for Sensient.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Customer Engagement:
Ability to develop content for presentatios, brochures, advertising, newsletter, blogs, and create content for social media.
Build customer-centric ideas using "taste" as your guiding light. This includes generating product concepts using market insights, customer briefs and cross-functional input.
Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in content development, advertising, trade shows, etc.)
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating proactive customers’ presentations.
Prepare and renewal capabilities presentation and prepare trends flyer for customers.
Support in the VOC (In the case that the area leader is unable to participe).
Support in the organization with sales department and R&D sales meetings to promote NPD’s, launches and general trends, market and products information.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing market data by segments and trends.
Support in the Organizing Sensient presence in events like Food technology Summit, food forum or any trade show required.
Content Creation & Creative Lead:
Point of contact for collaborating with agency partners to create new digital assets.
Work closely with the PR and Digital team to generate content demonstrating Sensient's knowledge and expertise in the category.
Work closely with PR and R&D to write original content on technologies and flavor trends.
Manage creative aspects of communication, such as presentations, newsletters, events and product collaterals.
Liaises with agency partners on amplifying marketing messages.
Work with global marketing peers and sales team to ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines.
Market Insights & Trend Spotting:
Support in the market research to understand consumer needs, habits, and trends.
Assist in analyzing marketing data to help shape future strategies.
Skilled at using data to identify trends and translate them to actions.
Closely monitor the portfolio landscape, including competitive launches.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
2-3 years of experience in a marketing or culinary or creative agency role, preferably in the food or flavor business
Degree in Food Science, Social Sciences, Marketing, Communication.
Must possess strong communication skills
Ability to partner with business leaders and provide strategic support
Should be a creative thinker and team player, enjoy customer contact and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of the creative platform
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to present in English
