As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.10 / Hour

1. Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

   • All candidates applying for positions that require driving as part of their job responsibilities must possess a valid driver’s license.
   • Candidates must provide a copy of their driver’s license during the application process.
   • The license must be valid and not expired, with no significant driving violations that could impact employment eligibility.

2. Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)

   • Candidates must also hold a valid driver’s license specific to the state in which they will be employed.
   • This requirement ensures compliance with state regulations and the ability to perform job duties effectively.
   • A copy of the state-specific driver’s license must be submitted for verification.

3. EMT Certification (C127)

   • For positions requiring emergency medical response capabilities, candidates must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
   • The certification must be current and recognized by the relevant state or national authority.
   • Candidates are required to submit a copy of their EMT certification as part of the application process.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, equipment areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• EMT certification is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
