Adobe Analytics Developer – Supervising Associate
The opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Adobe Analytics Developer with strong expertise in digital analytics implementation, data architecture, and solution design. This role will support a cross-functional initiative to streamline and standardize tracking across multiple user groups, with a focus on Adobe Experience Cloud integrations.
Your key responsibilities
Adobe Analytics Implementation
- Lead end‑to‑end Adobe Analytics implementations for web and mobile applications
- Design and implement tracking strategies, solution design documents (SDDs), and measurement frameworks
- Configure eVars, props, events, classifications, and processing rules
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to best practices
Tag Management & Data Layer
- Implement and manage Adobe Launch (Tags), including rules, data elements, and extensions
- Design, review, and validate data layers (W3C / custom) in collaboration with development teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues using debugging tools (Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, Charles, etc.)
Integration & Advanced Use Cases
- Integrate Adobe Analytics with other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions (AEP, Target, Audience Manager, Customer Journey Analytics)
- Support advanced tracking such as:
- Single Page Applications (SPA)
- E‑commerce and conversion funnels
- Enable integrations with third‑party tools and backend systems
Data Quality & Governance
- Perform data validation, QA, and ongoing monitoring
- Establish governance standards, naming conventions, and documentation
- Support GDPR/CCPA compliance and consent management integrations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business, marketing, product, and engineering teams
- Translate business requirements into technical tracking solutions
- Provide guidance, training, and best practices to internal teams
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics
- Expertise in Adobe Launch / Adobe Tags
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and browser behaviour
- Experience with data layers and digital analytics architecture
- Familiarity with AEP Web SDK and legacy AppMeasurement
- Strong debugging and QA skills
- Strong understanding of digital analytics concepts and KPIs
- Experience with e‑commerce, marketing attribution, and funnel analysis
- Ability to create clear solution design and technical documentation
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 6+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation, with strong expertise in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch (Tags), and Adobe Experience Cloud integrations
- Strong hands-on experience with AppMeasurement.js / Web SDK, data layers, and end-to-end tracking implementation
- Proven experience in auditing and optimizing analytics implementations, including identifying gaps in tracking, data quality, and reporting accuracy
- Solid understanding of cross-solution integrations within Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g., Adobe Target, AJO, CJA)
- Strong knowledge of consent management, privacy compliance, and marketing attribution concepts (e.g., ECID, OneTrust, consent-based tracking)
- Experience working with AEM or other CMS platforms to enable seamless analytics implementation
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Waterfall delivery models, collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and engineering
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical tracking specifications and solution design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leadership and global teams
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to drive implementation across matrixed teams and deliver high-quality analytics solutions
Ideal, if you’ll also have
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
- Exposure to Adobe Target or Audience Manager
- Experience with consent management platforms (OneTrust, TrustArc, etc.)
- Adobe certifications (Adobe Analytics Business Practitioner / Developer)
