Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a senior executive responsible for managing an industry-leading team in Brazil focused on further developing in-country strategy for our Payments franchise. This position will report directly to the regional head of Payments in Latin America. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the Treasury Services (TS) Sales team to drive the achievement of new business goals for Brazil, including the annual sales plan at target margins by identifying prospects/opportunities, developing the approach/calling plans and engaging partners to influence decision makers at prospective clients
In partnership with TS functional partners and coverage Bankers, drive the execution of the sales strategy, to achieve new business sales objectives, expand market share and increase the share of wallet with target Brazil headquartered clients
Deliver differentiation for JPM, signification commercial results with clients and long-term strategic investment value from a growing portfolio and partnerships.
Develop compelling financial and market strategy to formulate proposals for new businesses in-country
Continually build a pipeline of new client-focused innovation concepts, as well as expansion of local capabilities within TS, Trade and Merchant Services
Manage and oversee closely with client coverage and product teams to understand the emerging needs of our clients across all verticals and in-country
Work closely with JPM's global and regional partner to evaluate, structure and execute investments in-country Payments capabilities
Manage and oversee the development/evolution of complex products and solutions for clients in Brazil through partnership with internal product stakeholders
Oversee in-country Payments Client Services & Implementation, Operations, Technology, Stability and Resilience.
Partner with product and technology teams to build a near-term and medium- to longer-term innovation roadmap for our franchise in Brazil
Represent the Payments franchise at appropriate external market/industry forums locally and also with local Regulators
Proactively drive talent management holistically including growth, mobility, and succession planning for the Brazil Payments team

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

20+ years of professional experience in payments and proven track record at leading and managing and high performing teams
Strong relevant product leadership experience in Payments, Liquidity and Digital Commerce with in-country expertise in payments – acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments
Strong knowledge of Large Corporate clients headquartered in Brazil
Ability to manage client risk dynamics and drive team to manage risks, work with internal partners and clients to implement balanced risk/reward relationship
Exposure to various functions including sales, technology, client service, operations preferred
Proven experience in design thinking and product innovation
Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must
Disruptive thinker and innovator with consultative problem solving skills
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility across JPMorgan
Strong executive presence and ability; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
Track record of attracting, developing and retaining top talent
Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization
Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

Leadership experience in large global banks a plus
Understanding of and experience with APIs, machine learning and/or blockchain technology a plus
