Email Marketing Specialist (Hybrid - Philadelphia, PA)

Overview:

Works with the commercial banking & equipment finance marketing automation team as well as designers, developers, and project managers to coordinate, build, set-up and send emails and digital communications through our marketing automation software.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain the currency and accuracy of the email schedule, ensuring emails are on target to be sent on time.
Manage email campaigns throughout the project process, ensuring projects run smoothly and all approvals are obtained.
Build, test, proof, set-up and send emails.
Assist with email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment.
Manage the coordination of email reporting.
Assist in researching and implementing latest best practices and industry standards across marketing automation platform.
Implement A/B and multivariate testing on emails and content to maximize performance and engagement.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience

Proven project management skills

Proven organizational skills

Proven verbal and written communications skills

Detail-oriented

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working within given creative specifications in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

Proficiency with marketing automation platforms

Working knowledge of pertinent customer relationship management software
