Trauma Registrar

Responsible for the collection, abstraction, validation, and submission of trauma patient data in accordance with state and American College of Surgeons (ACS) trauma registry requirements. Maintains trauma registry data integrity, supports trauma performance improvement initiatives, assists with regulatory and verification activities, and prepares reports used to evaluate trauma program outcomes.
Collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager, Trauma PI Coordinator, physicians, nursing staff, EMS partners, and external agencies to support trauma program goals, injury prevention initiatives, education activities, and trauma verification readiness. Serves as a trauma program resource and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts across the trauma continuum of care.
