Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design and animate high-quality motion graphics for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Develop channel identities, show packages, title sequences, promos, campaigns, explainers and other branded content.
- Take projects from creative concept and style development through animation, compositing and final delivery.
- Create sophisticated 2D and 3D motion design using Houdini, Cinema 4D and After Effects.
- Develop 3D environments, objects and animations, including lighting, texturing, rendering, particles, procedural animation and simulations where required.
- Handle advanced compositing, tracking, masking, keying, rotoscoping and visual effects.
- Create and develop strong typography, supers and graphic treatments that align with the visual identity of each project.
- Work closely with Art Directors, designers, editors, promo producers and other members of the creative and post-production teams to develop and execute creative ideas.
- Adapt and deliver content across multiple platforms, formats and aspect ratios while maintaining visual quality and brand consistency.
- Work effectively within the fast turnaround times and changing priorities of a broadcast and news environment.
AI & Generative Production
AI is a core part of this role, and candidates should demonstrate practical, hands-on experience using generative AI as part of real creative workflows.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate and develop visual concepts using AI image and video generation tools.
- Work with platforms such as Seedance, Higgsfield, Kling, Runway, and other emerging generative tools.
- Develop AI-generated imagery and transform it into animated sequences and finished visual content.
- Maintain character, environment, style and visual consistency across AI-generated shots and sequences.
- Refine and troubleshoot AI outputs rather than relying solely on first-generation results.
- Combine AI-generated assets with After Effects, Cinema 4D, Houdini and traditional post-production techniques to achieve professional-quality results.
- Use AI for concept development, storyboarding, style exploration, image generation, video generation, animation, enhancement and creative problem-solving.
- Continuously explore emerging AI tools and identify practical ways to integrate them into existing creative workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional motion design experience.
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience with Houdini.
- Strong proficiency in Cinema 4D.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong 3D and 2D animation skills.
- Strong understanding of motion design principles, composition, color and visual storytelling.
- Experience with 3D modelling, animation, lighting and rendering.
- Experience with VFX and compositing workflows.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with generative AI image and video tools.
- Ability to develop a project creatively from a brief rather than relying solely on supplied designs or storyboards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, broadcast-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating motion design, 3D, VFX and creative execution.
Preferred
- Previous experience working within broadcast, television, news, entertainment or a creative agency environment.
- Experience creating channel branding and broadcast packages.
- Experience with advanced Houdini simulations and procedural workflows.
- Experience integrating AI-generated assets into professional motion/VFX pipelines.
- Understanding of broadcast delivery requirements and production workflows.
- A portfolio demonstrating experimentation with AI-generated visual storytelling, not simply standalone AI images.

We are looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Senior Motion Graphic Designer to join our Creative & Branding team in Riyadh. The role will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality motion design across broadcast, channel identities, show packages, promos, campaigns and digital content, taking projects from initial concept through to final delivery. A key part of this position is the integration of generative AI into the creative production process. The successful candidate should be comfortable combining traditional motion design, 2D/3D animation and VFX with the latest AI image and video generation technologies to develop new visual concepts and produce innovative content. The ideal candidate is not simply an animator or software operator, but a strong visual thinker who can interpret a brief, develop creative concepts and independently bring them to life.
