About us

Appnovation is the AI Product Company. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with teams around the world, Appnovation builds AI products, delivers enterprise AI and digital solutions, and co-invests with clients to bring new AI products to market.

Open source has been the foundation of Appnovation's work since 2007, and it remains the foundation underneath every AI product the company builds today. Appnovation teams work with organizations in highly regulated industries, including global leaders such as Pfizer, Google and AstraZeneca, to help them adopt AI they can govern and own.

We are currently recruiting for Appficiency, a global technology and professional services firm that solves complex business challenges through the intelligent application of enterprise software, automation, and AI. Known for a "technical-first" approach, Appficiency combines deep system architecture expertise with strong business logic to drive digital transformation globally

The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant I, you will operate as a senior leader within the consulting practice — overseeing complex, multi-workstream engagements and providing strategic direction across client portfolios rather than individual projects alone. You will be a recognized expert and trusted advisor to clients' executive leadership, driving business development, shaping practice-wide standards, and directly leading and developing a team of consultants. Your focus expands beyond project delivery to practice growth, client portfolio health, and organizational impact.

What You'll Do

Simultaneously work on 4-5 client projects/engagements while overseeing 1-2 additional projects
Manage new and existing accounts, assessing customer needs and leading the build, test, and implementation of NetSuite
Lead all phases of NetSuite implementation, including requirements gathering, documentation, buildout, validation/demos, testing, and user training
Own project allocations, team capacity, and billable hours, including assigning activity trackers and roles for new projects in Salesforce
Develop expertise in Appficiency's project delivery methodology and ensure its effective application across engagements
Build proficiency in the NetSuite application, its capabilities, and industry standard business practices
Identify non-standard business processes and recommend effective, practical solutions
Assist clients in designing and implementing their enterprise architecture
Participate in the design, build, testing, and support of integrations between clients' business systems
Resolve NetSuite issues clients encounter, delivering innovative and effective solutions

What You'll Bring

5-6 years in a professional services, functional, or technical consulting role, with prior experience in a senior or leadership capacity
Extensive experience leading large-scale SaaS, IT, or industry-specific implementations (e.g., distribution, manufacturing, retail, media & advertising)
A Bachelor's degree preferably in Software Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Deep, expert-level experience on the NetSuite platform, including complex, multi-entity or global implementations
Demonstrated success building and managing profitable, long-term executive level client relationships
Strong strategic and business acumen, able to align enterprise objectives to scalable, long-term technology strategy
Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment under ambiguity and pressure
Proven experience managing and developing consulting teams and their performance
Advanced knowledge of cloud computing technologies and enterprise architecture best practices
Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
Expertise in NetSuite modules like Advanced Manufacturing, Work Orders and Assemblies, Demand and Supply Planning, and Advanced Inventory Management.
Experience in FMCG or related industries such as manufacturing, retail, and warehousing is an advantage.
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Must be currently residing in Taiwan
Must be able to travel to Taipei / Kaohsiung City for onsite client visits.
Has Accounting experience.
Has ERP / NetSuite experience.
Has Manufacturing experience / MES experience

What Will Set You Apart

Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent client engagements without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
Strong account management instincts — skilled at assessing new client needs and scoping the right NetSuite solution
Sound judgment in identifying non-standard business processes and crafting creative, effective solutions
Solid grasp of resourcing and operations, comfortable owning project allocations, capacity planning, and billable hours
A dependable, solutions-oriented approach to troubleshooting NetSuite issues under pressure

What Success Looks Like

You consistently deliver strong outcomes across 4-5 concurrent engagements while effectively overseeing 1-2 additional projects
New and existing accounts trust your judgment in assessing their needs and guiding successful NetSuite implementations
You've internalized Appficiency's delivery methodology and apply it consistently and effectively across all your projects
Project allocations, team capacity, and billable hours under your ownership are accurate and well-managed
