Job Description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented F&B Reservation Agent to join our dynamic hospitality team in Istanbul, Türkiye. Under the guidance of the F&B Reservations Manager, you will be the key point of contact for managing reservations and guest communications across all food and beverage outlets. In this role, you will deliver exceptional, personalized service while ensuring seamless reservation experiences that reflect our commitment to luxury hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Manage daily reservations, incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach
- Utilize reservation management platforms such as SevenRooms and other property-specific systems to process and track all reservations efficiently
- Handle VIP reservations, special requests, celebrations, large parties, and individual guest preferences with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate guest profiles, including reservation notes, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests
- Monitor real-time availability, manage waitlists, process cancellations, and coordinate reservation modifications with flexibility and responsiveness
- Collaborate effectively with restaurant, host, and culinary teams to communicate reservation details, VIP arrivals, events, and outlet availability
- Adhere to all reservation, deposit, cancellation, payment, and no-show policies while maintaining transparency with guests
- Participate in daily reservation briefings and communicate critical VIP information and guest preferences to relevant team members
- Provide professional service recovery by addressing and resolving reservation-related concerns with empathy and decisiveness
- Support the team in delivering exceptional luxury hospitality standards through clear communication and collaborative problem-solving
- Perform related tasks as needed to support exceptional guest service and team operations
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude with demonstrated empathy and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with reservation management systems or willingness to quickly master new platforms
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and resilient during high-pressure situations and emergency scenarios
- Capability to make sound decisions based on experience and good judgment while adapting procedures for unusual situations
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or higher education
- Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, guest services, or related F&B environments
- Hands-on experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation and guest management platforms
- Multilingual abilities, particularly Turkish, English, and additional European languages (highly valued for Istanbul location)
- Knowledge of F&B operations, outlet management, and hospitality industry standards
- Experience handling VIP guests, special events, and complex reservation scenarios
- Familiarity with hospitality service recovery techniques and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and optimize reservation processes
