About the Role

The principal purpose of this role is to support the Head of AML Operations in managing the planning, execution, tracking and governance of strategic AML initiatives, with particular focus on AML-related AI model projects, operational transformation, stakeholder engagement, resource coordination and departmental administration.

This role combines business analysis, project management coordination, stakeholder management and operational support responsibilities.

The Manager will act as the central project lead to coordinate AML AI model initiatives, track milestones, manage risks and dependencies, facilitate requirements gathering, support billing and resource tracking, organise governance forums and ensure timely follow-up of actions across internal teams, vendors and AIA market stakeholders.

The role is expected to develop a strong end-to-end understanding of AML Operations, technology-enabled AML controls, service delivery requirements and stakeholder priorities. As part of succession planning, the incumbent will be progressively exposed to broader departmental management responsibilities, including operational oversight, people coordination, management reporting, issue resolution, governance, and preparation to assume future leadership responsibilities within AML Operations.
