About the Role
As the Fall Protection Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across NSW while strengthening relationships with distributors, end users, key specifiers and industry influencers.
You'll identify new opportunities, expand existing accounts, deliver product demonstrations and training, and work closely with internal teams to execute growth strategies and achieve ambitious sales targets.
This is a highly visible role offering a mix of account management, business development and technical solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
Grow Territory Sales
Deliver and exceed NSW sales targets for the Fall Protection portfolio
Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans
Identify, develop and close new business opportunities
Increase product adoption and market share within key industry sectors
Build Strong Customer Relationships
Manage and grow relationships with distributors and key end-user customers
Engage with business owners, procurement teams, safety professionals and operational leaders
Develop relationships with industry specifiers, consultants and key opinion leaders
Provide product expertise and support throughout the customer journey
Deliver Value Through Education
Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations
Support customer trials and site-based evaluations
Showcase innovative solutions through demonstrations and industry events
Communicate the 3M value proposition effectively to customers and channel partners
Execute Growth Initiatives
Support sales and marketing campaigns
Utilise CRM tools to manage pipeline opportunities and customer engagement
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
Collaborate with technical, marketing and business teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
What You'll Bring
Essential
3+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of achieving results
Strong business development and account management capability
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system
Commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities
Strong organisational and planning skills
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout NSW
Highly Regarded
Experience selling PPE, industrial, technical, construction or safety products
Knowledge of fall protection, height safety or worker safety solutions
Key Account Management experience
Tertiary qualifications in business, sales, marketing or a related discipline
Experience working with distributors or channel partners

Location
North Ryde, NSW
Regular travel throughout NSW is required, with occasional interstate travel, industry events and trade shows. The role also includes product demonstrations and technical application activities, with training provided on 3M fall protection systems and safe work-at-height requirements.
