Identifies opportunities to replace or upgrade server components. Validates cabling and confirms that the network environment is properly built and connectivity has been established.
Monitors and assigns work within the ticketing system, mentors less experienced technicians, and implements technical solutions. Provides training on advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques aligned with corporate objectives, while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and methods of procedure (MOPs) for operational data center change-control processes.
Acts as a technical liaison between technical and non-technical teams, providing subject-matter expertise to identify and mitigate resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.

Responsible for providing first-line support for OCI data centers, including hardware, software, application, and network support. Required to reside near the Curauma district in the Valparaiso Region, Chile. An Oracle Data Center Technician plays a key role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies within OCI data center environments. As a skilled technician working across a wide range of data center systems, you will identify and escalate issues to the appropriate internal OCI teams when necessary. You will perform repairs, installations, and monitoring activities within assigned data center spaces. An advanced level of spoken, written, and reading English is required for all responsibilities described above.
