With a high degree of autonomy, this position performs complex copy cataloging for USF Libraries across a variety of formats, both print and electronic, consistent with internal policies and procedures and in strict accordance with established national and international cataloging standards. This includes bibliographic description and subject analysis. This position also maintains bibliographic records in the database, including troubleshooting problems, updating holdings, enhancing metadata, and working with large spreadsheet-based datasets to complete data analysis and perform global database changes. Electronic cataloging includes batch loading bibliographic records and managing electronic resources in the library catalog.
