Head of Underwriting Strategy & Performance - SBS & Fac

We are seeking a driven and analytical individual to help us enhance underwriting performance (gross and net), strengthen portfolio diversification, and reduce volatility, whilst navigating a softening market.
The role will act as a Business Partner to the CUO and a trusted advisor to the broader underwriting leadership team.
The Head of Underwriting Strategy & Performance will also support coordination of cross-functional initiatives involving underwriting, pricing, claims, actuarial, exposure management and reinsurance teams, support strategic planning, business reviews and Board / Executive Committee presentations

The Head of Underwriting Strategy & Performance will support the CUO of SBS and Fac in underwriting strategy and portfolio management looking at existing business, new initiatives and reinurance purchasing. We are looking for a highly analytical insurance professional with strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in portfolio management, underwriting strategy and performance improvement. Candidates may come from underwriting, actuarial, portfolio management, or reinsurance backgrounds.
