SpeakIt is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join our team in Athens and help us grow our client base across Europe! 🌍
What you'll be doing
As a Business Development Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to signed contract, and become the commercial face of SpeakIt for your accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new opportunities in business services, shared service centres, and international commercial and operational teams entering new markets or facing hiring challenges
- Building your own pipeline through targeted calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, partnerships and industry events, while following up on enquiries and Marketing leads
- Building relationships with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders, Operations directors, country managers, and Finance and Procurement decision-makers
- Running discovery meetings to understand HR related needs hiring volumes, roles, languages, locations, deadlines, budgets and the client's decision process
- Preparing tailored proposals and presentations that clearly show the value of our services
- Working with our Recruitment team to confirm feasibility, resources and delivery commitments before closing
- Acting as the commercial contact for your accounts, supporting client reviews and identifying repeat hiring, additional services and opportunities in new locations
- Keeping CRM records and forecasts accurate, with clear next steps and expected revenue
Requirements
What we're looking for
Must have:
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with personal responsibility for finding opportunities, negotiating and closing new accounts
- Proven ability to ask the right questions, understand client priorities and explain the value of a tailored service in clear terms
- Experience engaging and negotiating with senior business buyers
- An organised approach to prospecting, follow-up and CRM use
- Professional fluency in English
- Willingness to travel within Europe for client meetings and events
Nice to have:
- Sales experience with HR software or other SaaS
- Experience in recruitment, staffing or HR services
