Your Role
You'll handle constellr's general procurement needs — from office supplies to service contracts — keeping the business running smoothly and cost-effectively
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives, optimize costs, and ensure the timely sourcing of goods and services.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders to drive value, innovation, and service excellence.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and risk mitigation measures while ensuring contractual compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and procurement risks, implementing improvement initiatives where required.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular reporting on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, operations, and business leaders to support strategic initiatives and continuous process improvement.
Job requirements
About you
Required:
- Experience in procurement or purchasing
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Comfort managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
- Fluent in German and English
Nice to Have:
- Experience with procurement/ERP systems
- Experience in a scaling company with growing purchasing needs
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or MCIPS
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and category management
