Part-time Lecturer (Social Work) (26270236)

The Academy invites applications from qualified and passionate individuals for part-time lecturer positions in the fields of Social Work, Counselling, and related disciplines. These roles involve teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at HKBU Kowloon and Zhuhai campuses. Candidates should be capable of teaching postgraduate courses in the following areas:

Family Therapy
Mental Health
Working with Older People

Requirements:

A relevant master's degree or above in Social Work, Counselling or related discipline;
Registered Social Workers (RSW) in Hong Kong;
Possess at least five years of post-degree professional experience;
Relevant professional experience in fields such as family, older people, and mental health; and
Good proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua/Mandarin) and English.

Notes:

Appointees may need to work in Mainland settings and travel to Mainland China occasionally.
The initial appointment will be made on a part-time and per course basis commencing in Academic Year 2026/27.
Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review and course availability.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
