This is a hands-on performance creative role. You will independently research customers and markets, identify compelling angles, and write the actual ads yourself (hooks, copy, headlines, concepts, video scripts, and iterations) You will brief designers or editors on what creative should be paired with the copy. You’ll work closely with paid media, design, video, CRO, R&D, and legal. Your goal is to consistently turn real customer insight into high-performing creative that acquires customers efficiently and scales across international markets.
Blueprint products are backed by population-level research, with rigorous 3rd party testing and best-in-class ingredients. You’ll develop compelling static ads, short-form videos, landing pages, and more. With a clear focus on customer acquisition, you'll play a crucial role in our brand’s strategy and aesthetic, ensuring our content resonates and drives revenue.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
- Creative Testing Flow
- Craft a consistent stream of new ads that outperform control ads.
- Develop compelling new claims and mechanisms that differentiate products while remaining compliance-safe.
- Designing test matrices that allow the team to isolate variables and understand what is driving performance.
- Creating a high-velocity testing cadence with consistent launches and systematic iteration.
- Using performance data to identify winners, losers, fatigue, scaling potential, and next-best iterations.
- Connecting creative tests to business metrics such as CPA, LTV, and Spend.
- Scaling winning concepts across new formats, funnels, channels, geographies, and products.
- Maintaining clear documentation of what has been tested, what has worked, and what should be tested next.
- Work with paid media to launch structured creative tests and understand what is actually driving performance.
- Research
- Own research to extract consumer insights and pain points to develop testable hypotheses.
- Analyze competitor and cross-industry strategies to uncover new messaging opportunities and unique angles.
- Creating a repeatable research system across ads, customer reviews, VOC, competitors, forums, market trends, customer pain points and desires.
- Study product, ingredients, claims, and mechanisms so you can turn technical information into creative.
- Tagging and categorizing research by angle, pain point, persona, mechanism, product benefit, objection, funnel stage, and creative format.
- Turn research into clear customer personas, messaging angles, hypotheses, and specific ads worth testing.
- Optimization & Performance
- Building reusable briefing systems that allow winning concepts to be adapted across SKUs and formats.
- Mapping creatives to ToFu, MoFu, and BoFu stages with clear strategic intent.
- Creating briefs that help designers, copywriters, editors, and media buyers execute faster with fewer revisions.
- Improving briefing quality over time based on performance outcomes.
- Creative brief is grounded in customer insight, research, performance data, and business priorities.
- Design, Improve & Maintain Creative Production Workflows
- Setup and improve creative workflows from research → brief → production → QA → launch → analysis → iteration.
- Working with designers, copywriters, editors, media buyers, and operators to maintain a predictable launch cadence.
- Create clear briefs for designers and video editors for ad creation.
- Continuously improving and automating the production system where possible.
- Compliance & Brand
- Ensure all written output across vendors, contractors, and the internal team reflects established brand standards.
- Craft claims that highlight unique product benefits aligned with HSA/FTC/FDA/ASA guidelines.
- Work with legal and R&D teams to develop compelling, legally compliant claims.
- Collaborate with legal/regulatory teams to maintain zero-tolerance for misleading or flagged copy.
- AI Integration
- Leverage AI to accelerate research, ideation, variation, and analysis, while maintaining strong human judgment.
- Build and maintain prompt libraries and writing frameworks that increase team output speed Identify where AI can reduce low-value writing time without compromising quality or voice integrity
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with media buyers, designers, and editors to align creative execution with growth objectives.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly creative cadences ensuring timely delivery of high-quality campaigns.
Position Results:
- Consistently produce, research-backed Meta ads with meaningful spend and contribute to incremental revenue growth.
- Build a repeatable research → creative brief → production → testing → iteration flow.
- Improve acquisition efficiency by identifying winning customer personas, messaging angles and creative concepts.
- Increase creative testing velocity and the percentage of media spend allocated to validated winning concepts.
- Metrics: NC CAC, NC ROAS, incremental revenue attributed to validated creative concepts and scalable media spend
- Soft Metrics: hook rate, hold rate, CTR
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of creative DTC advertising
- Demonstrated experience developing and scaling performance-driven Meta creative for DTC brands.
- Proven ability to conduct customer research and translate insights into creative concepts, scripts, production briefs and ads.
- Experience analyzing creative performance, designing structured tests and iterating based on acquisition metrics.
- Portfolio reflecting design and video editing capabilities that enhance user experience and conversions.
- Proven framework for research, identification of psychological triggers, messages & angle testing (interviews with customers, “copymining” from forums, surveys, reviews)
- AI tools like Claude & Chat GPT to conduct research and produce impacting copies.
- Experience writing in a regulated industry, preferably health and wellness
