-About the Position 

We have an opportunity for a driven Trade Category Manager Sauces. The role is positioned in Antwerp, working in the Benelux Business Unit with a team full of performance driven peers. The TCM reports directly to the Business lead Sauces and is in close contact with the senior team members in the Business Unit. The TCM has the responsibility to set out and implement the optimal category strategy for Sauces categories at our Belgian customers. This includes drafting commercial strategies, identifying brand & category opportunities and regular external and internal sparring sessions with our retailers as well as the marketing, sales, finance, procurement and other commercial teams. 

In brief, you take ownership of; 

• The definition of the Retailer specific strategy and Channel strategy including promo, price, shelf and assortment
• The Business Growth of the Kraft Heinz Company for the assigned categories (Culinary -and Snacksauces); 
• Being the main point of reference in the implementation of the commercial strategy, partnering with Account Managers during internal and external sessions. 
• Working closely with Marketing and CDM, build the commercial plan for NPD – assumptions on cost price, margin and distribution targets by customer and channel and engage the sales in executional delivery of the plan; 
• Working closely with sales, finance and supply to build accurate forecast by month, quarter and year considering the sellout, sell in and stocks in the market. 

Qualifications 

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position. 

Hard Skills 

• Minimal bachelor’s degree  
• Proficient in Dutch, English and French 
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, business analyses, sales, marketing, category, trade marketing and similar roles. 
• Experience within the FMCG industry is a plus, but not a necessity 

Professional Attributes  

• Interpersonal Skills – In the role you need to cooperate closely with different teams in both Antwerp and Amsterdam. Therefore, excellent communication skills to deal with all kinds of different collaborators is important. 
• Analytical - We’re a very data driven company. In the role you work with different data sources on a daily basis. You know how to translate complex data into a simple solution with an analytical approach. 

• Confident / Ability to give pushback - We value people who are not easily thrown off their game, not even when getting resistance. 
• Ability to Simplify - We like to keep it simple. And to implement fast. Simplifications skills are highly appreciated, when providing simple solutions dealing with sophisticated challenges.
