Senior HSE Advisor

We are looking for a talented Senior HSE Advisor to join our team in Mississauga or Ottawa, ON.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Provide hands-on support to sites across the region in implementing health, safety, and environmental and sustainability programs, initiatives, and tools that drive regional objectives and performance targets.
Partner with global teams to represent the region and contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE programs, policies, procedures, and best practices that strengthen operational excellence.
Guide and support sites in implementing effective hazard and risk controls through administrative controls, engineering solutions, procedures, training, education, and awareness initiatives.
Identify, analyze, and resolve health, safety, and environmental challenges while promoting standardization and the adoption of best practices across the region.
Lead or participate in regional audits, ensuring sites are prepared before assessments and supported afterward to achieve and maintain compliance and conformance requirements.
Coach and mentor service operations stakeholders on key health, safety, and environmental deliverables, fostering capability development and supporting long-term improvements to HSE culture
Provide hands-on support during the investigation of significant incidents, helping sites meet reporting requirements and implement corrective actions that reduce hazards and risks of future incidents
Manage relationships with regional suppliers and consultants, execute communication strategies that align with global objectives, and regularly travel to regional sites to support business needs and drive continuous improvement.
