PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

To work closely with Director of Catering Sales & Conference Services to explore new markets and packages
To develop market and business plan and strategies with Director of Catering Sales & Conference Services according to market trend
To seek for new business opportunities
To create sales leads

Sales Related Activities 销售相关的活动

Liaises closely with Sales Team in proposing the best deal when handling leads /inquiries (pricing strategy, special requirements) passed over, in order to convert the leads / inquiries to confirmed event.

与销售团队紧密合作，在处理生意信息/ 询价（价格策略、特殊需求）时给予建议和支持，使生意信息/询价转变为确定的宴会及会议活动。
Prepares proposals / contracts for leads / inquiries received from Sales Managers.

当从销售经理处拿到生意需求时，及时为客户准备报价书/合同等。
Follows through from negotiation until departure for events assigned.

对于分派的宴会及会议活动负责跟进从洽谈到会议活动结束离店。
Liaises with clients on finalising details and gives professional advice on set-ups and planning of events.

和客户一起商谈最终细节并在活动计划和布置上给予专业的忠告和建议。
Practices up-selling at all opportunities to maximise revenue.

Ensures effective communication with clients and internal departments.

Responsible for sending groups related information to other departments e.g. issues Banquet Event Orders, Group Resumes and pre-event meeting.

Maintains close co-ordination with respective departments on organisers’ requirements and last minute event requirements.

Be visible to organisers and clients during their event/group dates and monitors guest satisfaction.

Oversees the operation of banquet functions and works closely with various departments to ensure quality service is delivered to our clients at all times.

Regularly reviews Master A/C postings to ensure postings are correctly done. Reviews bills with organizers regularly so as to eliminate adjustments needed on final invoice.

Maintains close communication with concerned Sales Manager during the process.

Involves concerned Sales Manager during post-event meeting and post-event follow up such as sending Post-Event Critique forms together.

Verifies total charges and layout of invoices prepared by Accounts Receivable and sends out to organisers.

Obtains feedback from clients and follows through with the necessary actions.

Refers leads and sends Event Profile information to relevant sister hotels or GSO (if any).

Maintains the active Event Profile Database.

Establishes and maintains files of major accounts and assists the Director of Catering Sales & Conference Services in maintaining the Accounts Management System.

Establishes good working relationship with internal customers (other departments of the hotel) and external customers (clients, event contractors, suppliers).

Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals which contribute to Marketing budget.

Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production.

Provides feed-back on market trends and keep updated with client relationships and overall business goals through close communication with Director of Catering Sales & Conference Services.

Maximises up-selling opportunities whenever possible.

Arranges relationship building visitations when necessary.

Comply with rules and regulations of the Colleague Handbook.

Ensure the timely completion of seasonal sales products for the hotel, including but not limited to New Year gift boxes, rice dumplings, and mooncakes.
