Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and continuously improving the digital customer experience, including website operations, digital content, CRM, marketing automation, and performance analytics. This role serves as both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, helping bring major marketing campaigns to life across all digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate combines creativity, customer insight, and analytical thinking to develop innovative ideas, improve customer experiences, and identify new opportunities to drive engagement, lead generation, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Innovation

• Develop creative, customer-centric digital marketing ideas that support brand objectives, product launches, promotional campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
• Identify emerging digital trends, technologies, and marketing opportunities that can improve customer engagement and differentiate the brand.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute integrated marketing programs across websites, CRM, email, retailer platforms, social media, and paid digital channels.
• Challenge existing approaches and recommend innovative solutions that improve campaign performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Translate marketing objectives into digital activation plans that connect content, customer data, automation, and analytics.
• Test new ideas through experimentation, A/B testing, and pilot programs, using insights to continuously optimize results.

Website & Digital Experience Management

• Manage website content, landing pages, product information, and digital user experiences across brand and customer platforms.
• Optimize website performance, SEO, user engagement, and conversion opportunities.
• Coordinate website enhancements and digital customer journey improvements.

CRM & Customer Lifecycle Marketing

• Manage CRM platform and customer database integrity, ensuring accurate customer segmentation and data quality.
• Develop and execute customer communication strategies, including email marketing, lead nurturing, customer onboarding, and retention programs.
• Create targeted customer segments and personalized marketing campaigns based on customer behaviors, interests, and engagement data.
• Support lead management processes and collaborate with sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
• Analyze customer engagement metrics and provide recommendations to increase customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Marketing Automation & Operations

• Build and maintain automated marketing workflows, email campaigns, and customer journeys.
• Support the administration and optimization of marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, CMS platforms, and digital tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process improvements, and technology enhancements.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor and report on website performance, CRM effectiveness, campaign results, and customer engagement metrics.
• Develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to marketing and business leaders.
• Use data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Content & Campaign Support

• Serve as a creative problem solver who develops innovative marketing concepts and digital experiences that can be activated across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

• Collaborate with product marketing, sales, creative, and agency partners to brainstorm campaign ideas, customer journeys, and engagement strategies that drive measurable business results.

• Connect campaign objectives with digital execution, ensuring new product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives are effectively brought to life across all digital platforms.

• Identify opportunities to repurpose and extend content across email, website, CRM, retailer, and social channels to maximize reach and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, CRM management, marketing automation, or marketing operations.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lead nurturing, customer lifecycle marketing, and analytics.
• Experience with website content management systems and digital marketing tools.
• Strong creative, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced marketing environment.

• Strong ideation, brainstorming, and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Experience developing multi-channel digital campaigns that integrate content, automation, customer data, and analytics.

• Ability to connect customer insights and business objectives to creative marketing solutions.

• Comfortable challenging the status quo and bringing forward new ideas that improve customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.
