Digital Sales Specialist

Avanade Netherlands is seeking a highly motivated Digital Sales Specialist to strengthen our sales organization and accelerate growth across our Digital, AI, Cloud, and Security portfolio.
- As a Digital Sales Specialist, you will work closely with Business Development Executives, Account Leaders, and Solution Architects to identify, qualify, develop, and close strategic opportunities. You will provide subject matter expertise, support opportunity shaping, and help clients understand how Microsoft and Avanade solutions can address their business challenges and transformation ambitions.
The role is focused on driving pipeline creation and increasing conversion rates across priority opportunities, with a particular emphasis on helping sales teams position Avanade's capabilities in the most compelling and differentiated way.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support sales teams in developing and progressing opportunities related to: Data & AI, Cloud Transformation & Azure, Cybersecurity, Modern Workplace, Digital & Application Innovation
- Partner with Business Development Executives and Account Teams to identify customer challenges and translate those into actionable opportunities.
- Contribute to pipeline creation and qualification activities across strategic accounts and targeted prospects.
- Support customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and executive discussions.
- Help develop value propositions, business cases, and solution narratives aligned with customer priorities.
- Collaborate with solution architects and industry experts to shape winning propositions and proposals.
- Support RFPs, tenders, bids, and strategic pursuits where specialist knowledge is required.
- Maintain knowledge of Microsoft technologies, industry trends, and market developments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and customers throughout the sales lifecycle.

Required Experience :
- Experience in technology sales, pre-sales, consulting, business development, or solution specialist roles.
- Strong understanding of one or more of the following domains: Microsoft Azure, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, Modern Workplace, Digital Transformation
- Proven ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting complex solution sales and opportunity development.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across sales, consulting, and delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Knowledge of Avanade's core service offerings and go-to-market motions.
- Familiarity with public sector, regulated industries, or enterprise customers.
- Experience supporting proposal development and pursuit teams.
