Main Description
Position Summary: As part of the Housekeeping Operations team, you will keep all resort public areas, offices, and guest facilities immaculately clean, sanitary, and welcoming. This role requires an energetic individual with a strong eye for detail working in a fast-paced hospitality setting while always projecting a professional image and ensuring a safe, pleasant experience for our guests.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Cleans all public areas, corridors, restrooms, corporate offices, restaurants, windows, and elevators daily.
- • Cleans all carpets, floors, and surfaces daily by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- • Cleans and empties all internal and external garbage bins daily.
- • Ensures that all department equipment is functioning properly and reports any malfunctions to the manager immediately.
- • Reports all engineering and maintenance irregularities, such as malfunctioning bathroom fixtures, to management.
- • Attends required training sessions and daily briefing meetings to ensure proper skill and knowledge development.
- • Always maintains a high standard of personal appearance, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness.
- • Performs any other reasonable duties and projects within the scope of the job as requested by the supervisor.
- • The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
- • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
- • Minimum 1 year experience as hotel cleaner or in janitorial / cleaning position preferred.
- • Must be literate with above average verbal communication skills.
- • Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision.
- • Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time.
