The Opportunity | Te Āheinga
- Provide high quality care and education for tamariki enrolled at the centre.
- Plan and guide the developmental journey of each tamaiti using Te Whāriki as a foundation.
- Implement the curriculum while bringing your own creative ideas to the daily programme.
- Build strong and authentic relationships with families and whānau.
- Maintain a high standard of physical care and hygiene throughout the day.
- Foster a welcoming and co-operative working atmosphere with the rest of the team.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to keep your practice current and transformative.
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of every child are met through a supportive environment.
About You | Mōu
- Holds a Level 7 ECE or Primary qualification and current registration.
- Values child led discovery and pedagogical excellence in their practice.
- Builds warm and approachable relationships with whānau and tamariki.
- Honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi through inclusive and equitable mahi.
- Brings plenty of initiative and a proactive energy to the centre.
- Acts with professional integrity and respect for our multicultural community.
- Embraces continuous learning and a reflective professional journey.
