Chair of Excellence in Sales and Marketing and Chair of the Department of Marketing with anticipated start in Fall 2027.

The newly established Department of Marketing represents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of marketing education, scholarship, and engagement at one of America's leading metropolitan research universities. As part of a Carnegie R1 institution, the department is committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service while preparing students for success in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven marketplace.

This search is an exceptional opportunity to recruit a nationally and internationally prominent leader in marketing research and education who can guide the continued advancement of the department’s academic reputation, research productivity, doctoral education, and external engagement. The University will leverage resources associated with a vacant Chair of Excellence to support recruitment of a well-established scholar-leader whose record of research, doctoral mentorship, and academic leadership will further elevate the national standing of the Department of Marketing.

Role and Expectations

The Chair of Excellence in Sales and Marketing and Department Chair will serve as the academic and administrative leader of the Department of Marketing and is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision that advances the department's teaching, research, and service missions.
