As a Solution Engineer, you will be a senior technical expert responsible for shaping the future of the firm's API ecosystem. You will influence architectural direction, define platform standards, solve complex engineering challenges, and partner across teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions that advance the firm's API strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a senior technical expert, providing architectural guidance and technical leadership for API and platform initiatives.
- Define and evolve API standards, governance practices, and architectural patterns to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Shape and influence the technical roadmap by identifying opportunities to improve developer productivity, automation, observability, and operational excellence.
- Lead the design and review of complex API and integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term technology strategy.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges and accelerate delivery.
- Champion observability and reliability best practices to improve platform resilience and reduce MTTD and MTTR for critical services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive platform innovation and modernization.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through technical guidance, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Represent the API Office in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions across multiple teams and initiatives.
