1. Equity & Market Research: Evaluate market evolution across clinical unmet need, technology, scientific maturity, business models, adoption, and competitive dynamics. Frame the key debates within the investor community and develop prospective, evidence-based views and models for market size, growth, and long-term durability.2. Company Evaluation: Research private companies within priority subsectors; assess positioning, product and technology differentiation, clinical and commercial evidence, management quality, business model, competitive advantage, and strategic potential. Develop investment-oriented company profiles and diligence frameworks.
3. Private-Market Capital Assessment: Track venture investment, financing rounds, investor syndicates, strategic investments, M&A, valuations where available, and deal flow. Assess how capital formation and the financing environment influence competitive intensity, innovation cycles, and prospective category leaders.
4. Direct Company Engagement: Source, screen, and build relationships with private companies. Prepare for and facilitate discussions with founders and C-suite executives through direct outreach, conferences, and referrals. Develop executive briefs and targeted diligence questions, and represent the team with credibility and professionalism.
