Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission  (CoM) and the direct supervisor of the Protection Officer and in close cooperation with relevant departments at Headquarters (HQs) and Regional Office (RO), the Protection Associate-Casework will contribute to the provision of protection assistance through case identification, assessment, case management, referrals, follow-up, information provision, and coordination with relevant service providers to ensure that vulnerable individuals receive timely and appropriate support.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Liberia is working in close collaboration with the Government of Liberia, United Nations agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and international partners to address the complex migration, humanitarian, and development challenges exacerbated by decades of conflict, displacement, and instability.
