Team Overview:The Team Leader, Network Security Engineering leads a team of associates and contractors responsible for the availability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical network security platforms. This role balances people leadership with technical oversight, ensuring secure, reliable operations while advancing team capabilities and aligning with the firm’s strategic objectives. The Team Leader partners closely across technology, business, and vendor teams and plays a key role in developing future leaders within Network Security Engineering.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and support a team responsible for network security technologies across Segmentation, Firewall, IPS/IDS, and NAC across all environments and platforms (On-prem, Cloud, SaaS), including design, operations, and enhancements
- Align team priorities, processes, and deliverables with the firm’s strategic direction and network security objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of team processes such as resource management, support models, and delivery practices.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback to develop associates and build a strong succession pipeline.
- Ensure high quality and timely execution of projects, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet operational and security goals.
- Lead escalations and respond to system availability or security issues with appropriate urgency and accountability.
