• Design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems, components, equipment, and layouts.
• Prepare, review, and update electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Perform electrical calculations, load studies, circuit analysis, and system evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect electrical work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel.
• Identify electrical system issues and recommend corrective actions or improvements.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and material selection.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, work instructions, and project documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, inspections, and system changes.
• Travel to job sites as needed to provide engineering support and field evaluations.
• Works closely with the electrical and instrumentation team to maintain ADM standards. 
• Work from heights, including ladders, platforms, lifts, rooftops, or elevated structures, as required.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other environmental conditions, as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field required.
• Previous electrical engineering experience preferred; experience requirements may vary based on role level.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, such as NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA, or other relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with engineering software, design tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work safely around electrical systems and equipment.
• Must be able to work from heights, including ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, rooftops, or elevated platforms.
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying jobsite environments.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, fall protection, and other PPE as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and access equipment or work areas as required.
• Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training certification preferred, but not required unless specified by the employer.
