(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Process Analyst for the FCCB (Floor Change Control Board) in our Mechanical Engineering Department. Under general direction, this position is responsible for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processing systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments; and determines system requirements, such as output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes, validates and develops business and technical process requirements; develops systems requirements, techniques and controls; and leads implementation efforts of requirements.
- Represents business unit with project management, customers and end users.
- Develops and manages business and user requirement specifications; leads analysis and verification to ensure consistency, traceability, feasibility and completeness; recommends and implements process improvement.
- Develops hard copy and electronic reports as required; utilizes analysis models, prototypes and scenarios.
- Develops and implements requirement practices and processes; and develops engineering policies, procedures and tools.
- Develops and analyses product planning; and proposes new product features and updates.
- May provide leadership and training to less experienced staff.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Represents FCCB by responding to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources.
- Creates, maintains and updates FCCB Sharepoint records as needed.
- Coordinates, tracks and reports on the progress of assignments and / or projects. Participates in data collection, and data reporting to management.
- Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.
