An Locomotive Mechanic Welder conducts repair work and/or operates specialized engine testing equipment, operates various hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld, fabricate or join work pieces together. This mechanic welder performs maintenance and troubleshooting on locomotives and trains other operators. All levels of this position may be required to perform other functions or assist in other departments as needed.This position will have a starting wage at $24-26/hr
