FORVIA is looking for a year-round Purchasing Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Start of January 2027!
Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Purchasing Intern is to support the Purchasing Manager and assist the department with administrative and operational tasks. This internship provides exposure to Faurecia technologies and manufacturing methods through plant visits and occasional supplier field trips.
Responsibilities:
- Process data and maintain records
- Enter purchase orders into SAP
- Run monthly reports for management reviews
- Gather data for audits
- Support general purchasing commercial administrative activities
- Participate in activities to support Engineering Change Requests and productivity activities in close relationship with commodities.
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
- Support on workshop organization
- Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Education / Experience:
- Working toward a degree in Business (Finance or Accounting concentration)
- Minimum GPA: 2.8
- Must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours during the school week
- Self-sufficient and self-starter
