As an Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and inspecting electro-mechanical equipment within a workshop environment. You will support the maintenance, repair and testing of electrical and control systems while ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes quality and HSE standards.

You will be:
- Troubleshooting, testing, assembling and disassembling electro-mechanical equipment and assemblies.
- Performing visual inspections and functional testing of electrical and control systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and technical documentation.
- Diagnosing faults on motor control circuits, PLCs, printed circuit boards and associated instrumentation.
- Configuring and supporting test stations, test equipment and verification processes.
- Analyzing test data, identifying equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
- Supporting occasional offshore activities as required by operational needs.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Compex certification and an SVQ qualification or equivalent electrical qualification.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of maintenance or industrial electrical experience within oil & gas, marine, military, airline or related industries.
- Have strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience across electro-mechanical and electrical systems.
- Have experience working with instrumentation and electrical test equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters and similar devices.
- Have a good understanding of Fire & Gas detection systems.
- Have knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motor control circuitry and electro-mechanical devices.
- Have a thorough understanding of IEE BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Have experience working with ATEX and hazardous area (zoned) equipment.
- Have advanced soldering and electro-mechanical assembly skills.
- Have the ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and maintenance procedures.
