Product Engineering Specialist

We are looking for a talented Product Engineering Specialist to join our Cummins Inc. team in Seattle, Washington.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems for hybrid electric retrofit solutions on heavy-duty mining vehicles.
Drive product development activities from requirements definition through production release, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability objectives are achieved.
Establish robust engineering standards, design practices, and processes that improve consistency, manufacturability, and product quality.
Provide technical leadership for complex design decisions, risk assessments, and cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.
Guide system architecture, packaging, and vehicle integration activities to optimize safety, serviceability, and operational performance.
Mentor and develop engineers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, electrical, thermal, and systems teams to deliver integrated product solutions.
Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and technology advancement efforts that strengthen product capability and engineering excellence.
