Manager Key Accounts & Indirect Retail
Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Manager Key Accounts & Indirect Retail to drive commercial performance across conventional products while supporting the growth of smoke-free alternatives.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of commercial strategies through our field sales organization, ensuring strong market execution, team capability, operational efficiency, and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national field sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop field sales teams, supervisors, coaches, and other field resources.
- Set clear performance targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Drive sell-out performance across products, categories, branches, and channels.
- Optimize field operations, resource allocation, and ways of working.
- Lead digitalization of route-to-market (RTM) and field data collection.
- Manage field operations budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, trade partners, wholesalers, and internal stakeholders.
- Use data and market insights to identify opportunities and improve commercial performance.
- Identify operational and compliance risks and implement appropriate mitigation actions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare and monitor relevant field performance reports and KPIs.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of commercial experience, with cross-functional experience considered an advantage.
- Previous people-management experience, either through direct or indirect teams.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with a results-focused mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actions.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
- Agile, collaborative, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and relevant commercial or project-management tools.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
