Summer 2027 Nurse Externship at Evangelical Community Hospital!

Your application must include an uploaded resume, transcript, and letter of recommendation from current nursing instructor highlighting current academic standing, current behavior standing, and confirmation of completion of a medical-surgical rotation.

Program dates: May 17, 2027 - July 10, 2027
(2) 4-week unit experiences
Minimum work commitment = 36 hours per week
Paid clinical experience
Rotating shifts based on preceptor schedule
Consideration given for RN students who are entering final semester/year (graduation in winter 2027 - summer 2028)
Must have completed medical-surgical rotation in accredited nursing program prior to start of externship
Must maintain good standing status in accredited nursing program
1:1 with an experienced RN preceptor
Areas of possible rotation:
- Orthopedics & Med-Surg
- Emergency Department
- Critical Care Unit / Intermediate Care Unit
- Acute Care
- Operating Room / Surgical Services
