About the Role
At DP World Logistics France, the Inside Sales function has a key role in generating revenue, developing customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of our logistics business. As a Customer Service & Inside Sales Specialist, you will act as the daily point of contact for customers, providing pricing solutions, managing customer requests, and ensuring the smooth coordination of shipments.
Combining customer service, pricing, sales, and operational knowledge, you will work closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience while identifying new business opportunities and supporting revenue growth. You will serve as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring their logistics requirements are handled efficiently and professionally.
How You Will Contribute
- Provide excellent customer service by guiding customers through the shipment process, managing exceptions, sharing shipment updates, and building strong customer relationships.
- Prepare and provide pricing and rates for existing customers, supporting new shipments and business opportunities.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach to prospective customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Identify and target potential customers, maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to support business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding promptly to inquiries and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate closely with Operations teams to coordinate shipments, monitor progress, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, revenue generation, and business development efforts.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to support business planning and performance monitoring.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in logistics operations, providing a strong foundation for customer service and pricing activities.
- Previous experience in sales within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Good knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management, with proficiency in CRM, TMS, and related business tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a fluent command of both French and English.
