Job Overview:

General Description includes process design and analysis of an assigned scope of work in a McDermott project including complex process engineering design, analysis and development of an assigned scope of work in a project and/or specific complex deliverables such as conceptual process design, Pre-FEED, FEED and EPFC projects. Strong working knowledge of many design techniques and analysis methods, and detailed knowledge of the content and application of standards, codes and guidelines as applicable. Assists with training other engineers by providing instruction on new technologies and/or a specialization. Supports the development of new technologies and methods. Maintains and promotes a focus on McDermott’s end product whether engineering, fabrication or construction. Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines. Manages own time to meet agreed deadlines and budgets and develop plans for short-term work activities in own area. Ensures highest work priorities are addressed. Ensures effective management of change. Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity and budget control.

The Senior Process Engineer applies in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices in process engineering. They are responsible for solving complex process engineering problems and work independently with minimal guidance.
