Executive Officer (26270226)

The appointee is expected to provide secretarial and administrative support to the taught postgraduate programme offered by the School of Communication.

Responsibilities:

General office administration and assisting in the day-to-day operations which include liaison with teaching staff, students, alumni, and external bodies;
Student recruitment, admissions, and record updates;
Coordination and organisation of events and activities such as workshops, seminars and study tours;
Handle programme financial and other administrative matters including preparing and compiling statistical analysis and reports;
Assist in the planning and coordination of outreach activities locally and outside Hong Kong. Occasional travel to Mainland and overseas is required; and
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean and the Head of School Administration.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree with preferably two to three years of relevant work experience;
A good command of English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
Good interpersonal skills and be a good team-player;
Proficiency in MS Office, Chinese and English word processing, multimedia, and software for website maintenance;
Knowledge, skills and experience in managing social media platforms, especially WeChat official account, RedNote etc.; and
Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing in October/November 2026. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
