Location: Open Wide Dental | Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $55/hour
Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Patient Mix: PPO & Fee-for-Service
Practice Model: Traditional Hygiene | Single Column, 60-Minute Recall/Prophy Appointments

Open Wide Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our Phoenix team!

What Your Day Looks Like
At Open Wide Dental, you can expect:
- 60-minute hygiene appointments in a traditional single-column schedule
- A PPO and fee-for-service patient base

What You'll Do
- Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct periodontal charting and assessments
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Provide patient education and oral hygiene instruction
- Identify and communicate restorative and periodontal treatment needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and front office staff
- Support comprehensive patient care and promote long-term oral health
Requirements
Required
- Active Dental Hygiene License in Arizona
- Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred
- Laser Certification
- Experience with assisted hygiene models
- Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
- Experience with periodontal therapy
- Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance
- Bilingual skills
