About the Role
As an Account Manager Lead, Client Success, you will build trusted relationships with financial services clients across trading and asset services. You will combine capital markets expertise, commercial acumen and client advocacy to help clients achieve strong outcomes from their FIS relationship. You will understand client operating models, priorities and challenges while coordinating across product, technology, operations and commercial teams. Success means strengthening client engagement, improving client outcomes and identifying opportunities to deepen strategic relationships.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead strategic client relationships across trading, investment operations and asset services environments.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business strategies, operating models, technology landscapes and transformation priorities.
- Serve as a senior client advocate, coordinating stakeholders to address priorities, risks, service concerns and strategic opportunities.
- Build structured account and engagement plans aligned with client objectives and measurable business outcomes.
- Engage senior stakeholders across front, middle and back-office functions to understand evolving capital markets requirements.
- Translate client needs into clear priorities for product, technology, operations, service delivery and commercial teams.
- Lead regular client reviews covering strategic priorities, service performance, initiatives, risks and agreed actions.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships by connecting client challenges with relevant FIS capabilities and solutions.
- Navigate complex client environments involving trading workflows, investment operations, asset servicing, data and financial technology.
- Monitor market, regulatory and technology developments affecting institutional trading and asset services clients.
Required Qualifications
- Strong client success, account management or relationship management skills within capital markets or financial services.
- Demonstrable knowledge of trading and asset services, including relevant front, middle or back-office workflows.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across investments, operations, technology, risk and commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of institutional financial markets, investment operations and related technology ecosystems.
- Proven capability to manage complex client relationships involving multiple products, stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Commercial acumen, including opportunity identification, account planning, negotiation and value-based client conversations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Relevant professional experience or an equivalent combination of practical expertise, education and industry knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle, post-trade processing, securities operations, custody or asset servicing.
- Experience supporting asset managers, investment managers, banks, broker-dealers, custodians or other institutional market participants.
- Familiarity with technology-enabled transformation across trading, investment operations or asset servicing.
- Understanding of market, operational and regulatory considerations affecting institutional financial services clients.
- Experience partnering with product, technology, implementation, operations and sales teams in a matrixed environment.
