How you'll contribute
A Paramedic who excels in this role:
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, telemetry monitoring, and ECG interpretation.
- Ability to recognize and escalate abnormal heart rhythms, changes in vital signs, or signs of patient deterioration.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment in high-acuity situations.
- Experience performing patient assessments, obtaining vital signs, and documenting findings accurately.
- Comfortable providing direct patient care, including mobility assistance, personal care, and comfort measures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to relay timely, concise, and accurate patient information.
- Ability to multitask effectively while monitoring multiple patients and managing monitor station responsibilities.
- Highly dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards.
- Works well in a team-oriented environment and supports overall unit operations and workflow.
- Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a patient-centered approach in all interactions.

What we’re looking for
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Certifications
Current State Paramedic License/Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation Certification
- Certified EKG Technician (CET)
- Previous telemetry, emergency department, critical care, or EMS experience
